  • TP/RP/CP – (morning conversation regarding behavior not inline with standard of home) – 
    1. God’s Spirit to be fully present and lead the way. 
    2.Holy Spirit to prepare each of us to have a conversation that glorifies God, honors the godly values we hold in high regards, encourages us to hold family unit together and empowers us individually to step-up and be who God is calling us to be. 
    3. The conversation to be filled with peaceful words that fuel peace-filled spirits within each of us, delivers “tough-love” in a respectful and loving manner, and encourages each of us to do what needs to be done to better ourselves and the lives of those around us. 
    4. For CP to not feel “ganged up on” but truly feel the unconditional love and concern of his parents. 
    5. For CP to feel disappointed in himself for not stepping up and doing what he knows he’s capable of and expected to do. 
    6. CP to connect with JM and find an unexpected gift from God by way of a relationship with a godly mentor who “gets him.” 
    7. CP’s connection to JM to glorify God, honor God and set him on a path that is forever impacted by knowing someone other than his parents love him and believe he is able to do great things. 
    8. CP to begin understanding the empowerment that comes from relying on God’s Spirit to kingdom work. 
    9. CP’s vision to be godly in nature and focused where it needs to be and a renewed desire to serve others. 
    10. For TP and RP to be patient and confident with God’s work in CP. To trust God’s promise to finish the work He’s started.  Oklahoma City

Dear Almighty God,

Lift us up for Your blessings today.  We pray that You will anoint us with strength and self care. We pray that You will grace us with patience and wisdom.  We pray that You will encourage us throughout the day to take the correct steps to walk proudly and behave well.

Bless those with broken hearts and broken lives with healing.  Change their circumstances and cause peace and prosperity to come to them.  Thank You for being with us through thick and thin, in the best of times and in the most challenging times.  You are our rock, our fortress, our everything..

You never forsake us.  You were with us at the start and You will be there at the end.  Let compassion be our guide as we offer help and healing with only our presence and our prayers. Through Jesus Christ Name.  Amen

On Monday, June 19th, let us pray together for:

  • Tim is asking prayers for relief of pain for his wife's cousin, Terry, who has cancer.  Also pray for safe travels for Tim who drive eighty miles one way weekly to take care of Terry's needs.  Mount Airy, NC

God to prepare both men to approach this meeting with their hearts ready to hear from God. 4.          An Interview With God

I dreamed I had an INTERVIEW WITH GOD.

"So, you would like to interview me?" GOD asked.

"If you have time," I said.

GOD smile. "My time is eternity... what questions do you have in mind for me?"

"What surprises you the most about humankind?"

GOD answered...

"That they get bored with childhood, that they rush to grow up, and then long to be children again."

"That they lose their health to make money... and then lose their money to restore their health."

"That by thinking anxiously about the future, they forget the present, such that they live in neither the present nor the future."

"That they live as if they would never die, and die as though they had never lived."

GOD's hand took mine... and we were silent for a while.

And then I asked, "As a parent, what are some of life's lessons you want your children to learn?"

GOD replied, "To learn they cannot make anyone love them. All they can do is let themselves be loved."

"To learn that it is not good to compare themselves to others."

"To learn to forgive by practicing forgiveness."

"To learn that it only takes a few seconds to open profound wounds in those they love, and it can take many years to heal them."

"To learn that a rich person is not one who has the most, but is one who needs the least."

"To learn that there are people who love them dearly, but simply do not yet know how to express or show their feelings."

"To learn that two people can look at the same thing, and see it differently."

"To learn that it is not enough that they forgive one another, but they must also forgive themselves."

"Thank you for your time," I said humbly.

"Is there anything else you would like your children to know?"

GOD smiled, and said... "Just know that I am here. Always."
