Footprints In The Sand

I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord, and Across the sky flashed scenes from my life. For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand; One belonged to me, and the other to the Lord. When the last scene of my life flashed before us, I looked back at the footprints in the sand. I noticed that many times along the path of my life, there was only one set of footprints.

I also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in my life. This really bothered me, and I questioned the Lord about it. "Lord, you said that once I decided to follow You, You would walk with me all the way; But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why in times when I needed You the most, You should leave me.

The Lord replied, "My precious, precious child. I love you, and I would never, never leave you during your times of trial and suffering. When you saw only one set of footprints, It was then that I carried you."

For A Focus on Spiritual Purity

Thank You Father for Your gracious gift of prayer that enables us to enter Your throne room of grace any time, knowing that You have granted access to all who are bought with the precious blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank You that we may come boldly to Your throne of grace, so that we may obtain mercy and grace to help in time of need.

Thank You that we have been imputed with the righteousness of Jesus Christ – for by His death and resurrection we have been made pure… and Lord we want to live a life that is pure and holy in Your sight.

We pray that You would deepen our faith in Your precious Word and we trust in Your unchangeable character and ask that in Your grace You would strengthen our inner being through the power of Your mighty arm - and the strength of Your Holy Spirit.

Let our mind be fixed on Jesus and when wrong thoughts or foolish doubt enter our heart – we pray that we would take that thought captive and banish that doubt from our mind as we look to Christ and rest in the unfailing promise of His sufficient grace.

Lord when we am tempted to sin we pray that we may quickly look to You and away from the temptation – and should we sin Lord, we pray that we would immediately fly into Your arms of forgiveness - for You have promised that if we confess our sins - You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness – so that we may be renewed into sweet fellowship once again with Yourself.

Thank You for the wonderful example of Christ our Savior and we pray that we may grow more and more like Him with every passing day, in Whose Name we pray, Amen.

May there be a genuine sentiment between the words and his heart.Help him LONG for a better path. 10.Expose his sin. 11.May consequences be such that get his attention and turn his heart and eyes back to God for help! 12.May the scars from this chapter be only what they need to be for a reminder in days to come that he a beloved child of God, saved by grace and mercy and owes every remaining minute to God above. May this chapter release a love and devotion to God that we all desire.
